A New Jersey solar farm is growing on farmland that was originally destined to become a field of McMansions. Work on one of the nation’s largest solar farms began last month in Pilesgrove, in the southern flatlands west of the Pine Barrens and east of Wilmington, Delaware.

New Jersey Restarts Solar Incentives Program

This week the Garden State launched Funding Cycle 2 of its Renewable Energy Incentive Program. The initiative offers incentives--in the form of rebates--for solar electric/photovoltaic, wind and sustainable biomass systems for residential, non-residential and newly constructed buildings.
